Firstly, another quick recap about who BD Rowa is:

BD (Becton Dickinson) is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world and is advancing the world of health by improving medical discovery, diagnostics and the delivery of care. BD helps customers enhance outcomes, lower costs, increase efficiencies, improve safety and expand access to health care.

Part of one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world, BD Rowa™ has a large portfolio of solutions, from pharmacy automation systems to digital solutions for virtual product presentation. They enable the delivery of cost-efficient prescription services, increase capacity in your store, release capital tied up in stock, and reduce wastage to near non-existent.

Our aim is to provide quality service and advice to pharmacists and pharmacy owners looking to automate their dispensary, improve the workflow in their business and have more time for direct customer consultation.

Looking at the Future Pharmacy

In retail and community pharmacy, it’s important to provide a better-quality sales consultation and overall customer experience. Our range of BD Rowa’s digital products, automated solutions and improved workflow design enables you to do just that.

Let’s start with what most of you are familiar with – Automation.

Rowa Smart™ or Vmax™

This is your solution for fast and fully automated dispensing. A Rowa™ will manage your inventory with less hassle and greater accuracy, allow you to release capital tied up in stock and save time spent on reporting and handling stock. In turn you’ll have more time for improved, one on one consultation.

The addition of a ProLog conveyor fully automates the input process. Simply load your stock onto the conveyor then let it take care of separating, scanning, measuring and storing the stock for you.

The Rowa™ can be customised to suit your specific requirements. Increase the Rowa’s height and depth for greater storage space; choose from semi or fully automated input – from the front, side or corner, and for specific medications, internal refrigeration is also available.

What about bottles? Yes, the Rowa stores bottles too!

However, the main advantage of the Rowa™ isn’t just in its physical features, storage ability and add-ons; it’s time. The Rowa™ will allow you to extend your capabilities as a Pharmacist and with added time on your side, you’re more accessible to customers and able to provide a better-quality customer experience.

If that’s not enough to impress you, simply look inside the Rowa™ in action – it really is mesmerising!

Vmotion™

Less than a year after they became available in Australia, some pharmacists have already taken the step forward and had Vmotion™ screens installed in their pharmacy. Positioned behind the counter, on the floor or in the store window, the Vmotion™ screens are an interactive and customisable solution for standardised health consultations.

They allow you to display product and special offers, including price variations and product advertisements, which can be quickly and easily personalised to suit your pharmacy’s location, seasonal products, or even a sudden change in weather.

This selling tool assists with standardised health consultations during the sales conversation, as pricing options and savings are now transparent to the customer. Add-on products and additional pharmacy recommended products can be displayed on the same screen for better quality consultations.

Customer consultation and service becomes more efficient, too. Staff can consult, select and process scripts without leaving the customer’s side and within seconds, turn around to collect the product being dispensed from the Rowa outputs neatly and conveniently positioned within the product shelving.

Workflow Design

The style of dispensary counters is also changing and unlike most pharmacies today still using the two-counter dispensary, the modern Dynamic Dispensing design features a single dispensary counter, designed for better pharmacy workflow.

During the sales consultation process with our Territory Managers, our Workflow Designer can provide pharmacy concepts to show you how these solutions will feature in your pharmacy, giving you a better idea of the end result.
